PM Modi inaugurates Vande Bharat Train: Prime minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train on Sunday (January 15) on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. This program took place through video conferencing. Now the number of Vande Bharat trains has increased to 8 in the country. This express train will run between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam.
During this, PM Modi also wished the countrymen for Makar Sankranti and Pongal. He said that this Vande Bharat Express train will work to connect the heritage between Telangana-Andhra. It will also keep our faith connected. Places related to faith and tourism fall on the route of the train, so India will get strengthened religiously as well.
‘The bravery of the Indian Army is unique’
He said that today is also Army Day. Every Indian is proud of the army. The contribution of the Indian Army to the security of the nation and its borders, its valor is unparalleled. India is always ahead for its dreams and aspirations. Along with this, today Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are getting a wonderful gift in this festive atmosphere.
‘Tourism will get a boost’
The PM said that this train is a symbol of the resolutions of New India. Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam will give a boost to tourism. Today traveling in Indian Railways is becoming more enjoyable than before. The works started by the BJP in the last 7 to 8 years are completely rejuvenating the railways.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Governor T Soundararajan were present at Secunderabad station in this programme. Railways said that it has a seating capacity of 1,128 passengers with 14 AC chair cars and two executive AC chair coaches.
This will be the route of Vande Bharat
According to railway sources, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express (20833) will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.45 am and reach Secunderabad at 2.15 pm. Whereas, the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam train (20834) will leave Secunderabad at 3 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 11.30 pm.
‘Railways and country’s development above politics’
PM Modi had said about this train that the engineers, designers, technicians of the country have made it. The amount of sound in this train is 100 times less than that of an airplane, it is a matter of pride for the engineers. The development of railways and the country is above politics. Wherever the Center is needed, the Center will give funds.
