Has shown flexibility. He said that huge difficulties, global crises, supply chain breakdown and geopolitical tensions had an impact on prices across the world. Despite this, the average inflation between 2014-15 and 2023-24 (till November) was only 5.1 percent, whereas during the previous 10 years (2004-14) it was 8.2 percent. On the question of reducing unemployment in the country, PM Modi said, “As far as creation of jobs is concerned, this has been the top priority of the government. All our efforts are in this direction. Everyone knows that investment in infrastructure impacts growth and employment in many ways. Therefore, we have continuously increased the expenditure on capital investment.” The PM said, “When I start something, I know the end point, but I never announce the blueprint. I work on large canvases.”

When I left Gujarat to become the Prime Minister, the size of Gujarat’s economy had increased to 133.5 billion dollars (Rs 11.1 lakh crore). And as a result of the many policies and reforms that were done, today Gujarat’s economy has become worth about 260 billion dollars (Rs 21.6 lakh crore).

After this, referring to the President’s figures, PM Modi said, “When I became Prime Minister in 2014, India’s economy was worth 20 trillion dollars (Rs 167 lakh crore) and at the end of 2023-24, India’s GDP will be 37.5 trillion dollars ( 312 lakh crore). This track record of 23 years shows that this is a realistic target. “
