What is Vishwakarma Yojana?
In the year 2023, the Government of India had started the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana to provide economic benefits to the people involved in 18 traditional trades and to help in expanding their business. In this scheme, along with financial benefits, training is also given to the beneficiaries. A daily stipend of Rs 500 is also given during training. After this, after the training is completed, the beneficiaries are given financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to buy the toolkit. So want to expand your business with this. They are given a loan of Rs 3 lakh at a low interest rate without any guarantee.
