Near Siraspur Gate in Samaypur Badli, miscreants beat up a Japanese citizen and looted him. The miscreants fled away after looting their camera, mobile and purse. The victims work for Nippon Express, a Japanese logistics services company based in Gurugram. While investigating the case, the police have arrested two miscreants, one of whom is a minor. The police have recovered all the goods from the possession of the miscreants.
Police officials said that around 2.30 pm on Saturday afternoon, the police received information about the robbery of a Japanese citizen near Siraspur railway gate. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot. The victim Japanese citizen told that he lives in DLF Gurugram, Haryana, he is originally from Tokyo, Japan. He works for Japanese company Nippon in Gurugram.
He went from Delhi to Panipat railway station at 7.15 am on Saturday morning. On his return, he got down from the train at Kheda Kalan railway station at around 1 pm and took some photographs. After this he started walking towards Badli railway station. As soon as he reached near Siraspur railway gate, two youths who came from behind started beating him. After that the miscreants looted his camera, two mobile phones and purse and fled away. Based on the statement of the victim, the police registered a case of robbery.
The police took the case of robbery of a foreign national seriously and immediately formed a team under the leadership of police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar. The police investigated the CCTV installed around the incident spot. Two miscreants were seen in it. The police checked the cameras installed in the direction of their escape. One of the two miscreants was identified by the local people as Rahul, resident of Siraspur Gol Chakkar. The police raided and caught Rahul. During interrogation, he told that he along with a minor living in Siraspur committed the crime. He was also caught by the police on the behest of Rahul.
