Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested four accused, including the father and mother of the minor accused who committed murder with a knife in broad daylight. This incident took place over messages sent by a female friend. The victim Deepak wanted to marry his female friend. The main accused in this case, a minor, has already been caught.
According to Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh, the incident took place on October 9 in Vijay Vihar police station area. The victim Deepak had died in this. The main accused in this case, the minor, was caught at the same time. Earlier, he was caught in the case of attempt to murder in July 2001 and was released on October 8, 2001, a day before the Vijay Vihar incident. He had run away from the juvenile home.
After this, the names of four accused conspirators, the minor’s father, his mother Pooja, Vinod and Sagar came to light. The police team came to know that a video regarding a dispute with the accused’s female friend went viral on October 9. Ultimately, the police team of SI Governor Singh arrested the four accused from Durga Park, Nasirpur village, Dwarka on the night of 21 and 22 October.
This is how a conspiracy was hatched
The accused minor is a close friend of Rohini resident Sagar (18). The minor had a love affair with a girl living in his neighborhood and wanted to marry him. The victim Deepak Sharma was pressurizing the girl to talk to him and have a relationship. When the minor came out of the juvenile home, he told Sagar that Deepak had threatened his girlfriend and her parents.
Because of this, the entire family has gone somewhere, so he wants to teach Deepak a lesson. The minor’s father (63), resident of Vijay Vihar, Rohini, has been to jail several times for drug trafficking. She revealed that her stepson was in a serious relationship with a girl, but his friend Deepak was pressurizing him to have a relationship. After coming out in October 2024, he along with Nikhil and Vinod and other family members had conspired to murder Deepak. It was decided in the conspiracy that Vinod’s son Sagar would distract Deepak, the minor accused and two other minors would kill him.
