In Dwarka, a vegetable seller was murdered to extort money. The police have arrested the main accused in this case. Before this, the police had arrested the accused who committed the crime. The main accused has been identified as Aman Siddiqui (19). He wanted to establish his dominance in the area by extorting money from vegetable vendors. Police have recovered a pistol and two cartridges from the possession of the accused.

The police officer said that on October 22, around 12.30 am, miscreants had shot dead vegetable seller Samarpal who was coming home after selling vegetables. Samarpal used to run a vegetable vendor near Dwarka turn. The police registered a case of murder. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Narcotics Cell of the district started investigating the matter.

The police team under the leadership of Inspector Subhash Chand examined the footage of CCTV cameras around the incident site. The police, after scanning the CCTV camera footage in the direction of the criminal’s escape, arrested the accused Prashant (18) from Mohan Garden area. Police recovered the pistol used in the murder from the possession of the accused.

During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that he had committed the crime at the behest of Aman. He wanted to extort money from vegetable vendors and establish his dominance in the area. For this, Aman had persuaded Prashant to shoot the vegetable seller. After this the police started searching for the main accused Aman. With the help of technical surveillance, the police arrested the main accused Aman Siddiqui (19).
