A shameful incident took place in a village in Madiahu police station area of Jaunpur district. Here an eight-year-old girl who was playing outside the house was taken inside a shop on the pretext of giving her a chocolate and raped. The police have registered a case and are taking action.

The mother of the victim girl gave a written complaint in the police station and told that on Saturday afternoon her daughter was playing in front of the door, there is a bicycle puncture repair shop near the house. When the middle aged man saw the girl alone, he took her inside the room on the pretext of giving her chocolate. First he molested her, when the girl protested, he threatened her and raped her. The girl did not tell anything to anyone due to fear.
When the family members asked, the truth came out
She kept groaning in pain the whole day. When she started having unbearable pain at night, the family got worried. When asked, the girl told that her uncle from the neighbourhood had misbehaved with her. Hearing this, the family was shocked. The family got her treated by a private doctor. In the morning, the matter was reported to Inspector in-charge Anil Kumar.
On receiving the information, the station in-charge reached the spot with the police force and took the victim and the accused to the police station. Where, on the complaint of the victim’s mother, legal action is being taken against the accused. Station in-charge Madiahu Anil Kumar said that legal action is being taken against the accused after taking the statement of the rape victim.
