After killing chemical businessman Dilip Gupta in Agra, miscreants looted 600 grams of gold and Rs 20 lakh in cash. While fleeing, the miscreants had thrown away a bag containing 125 grams of gold jewellery. Which was taken into custody by the police in the name of investigation. When the news was published prominently in Thursday’s issue of Amar Ujala, the police called the victim’s family to the police station and gave them a bag. Said that finger prints had to be taken, hence had brought the bag.
Servant Lokesh had brought three miscreants to Dilip Gupta’s house. After the murder of the businessman, his wife Lata Gupta was attacked and looted. Lata had told that the miscreants had taken 600 grams of gold jewelery and Rs 20 lakh in 4 bags.
While running away, a bag was thrown outside the house, which contained about 125 grams of gold jewellery. A relative had kept it in the cupboard. The police came with an officer and took the bag out of the cupboard and took it with them.
Family members had raised questions in this regard. Businessman’s son Sumit told that he received a call from the police station on Thursday. The police said to come to the police station. He arrived with relatives. The police gave them a bag of jewellery. Made a video. Said that it was the same jewelery which was in the house. He expressed satisfaction on this.
Finger prints had to be taken…
Police said that the miscreants had fingerprints on the jewelery bag and box. The bag was taken to take fingerprints. However, the family members were questioning whether the miscreants had touched the door, cupboard and other items. But, why did she take only jewellery?
