Narendra Modi 3.0 Cabinet: Today is the swearing-in ceremony of the new central government. It is being said that the Ajit Pawar faction’s NCP is not joining the government. Meanwhile, NCP leader Praful Patel has claimed that last night we were told that our party will get a minister of state with independent charge but this would have been a kind of demotion for me.

NCP leader Praful Patel said, “I was earlier a cabinet minister in the central government, so this will be a demotion for me. We have informed the BJP leadership and they have already told us to just wait for a few days, they will take remedial steps.”

What did Devendra Fadnavis say?

Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, while talking to the media, said that the Ajit Pawar-led NCP has been offered a minister of state post, but the party is insisting on cabinet rank. He said that since the NCP won only one of the four seats it contested, it has been offered a minister of state post. Meanwhile, NCP’s only MP Sunil Tatkare has not received any information about becoming a part of the cabinet.

How many seats will Mahayuti get in Maharashtra?

Let us tell you that Mahayuti won a total of 17 seats in Maharashtra. BJP won 9 seats. Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena of this faction won 7 seats. Whereas, NCP of Ajit Pawar faction won only one seat. Lok Sabha Elections In 2015, NCP contested on four seats in which it won only Raigarh seat.

He faced defeat in Baramati, Shirur and Osmanabad. Pawar suffered the biggest setback in his home turf Baramati where his wife Sunetra Pawar faced defeat at the hands of Ajit Pawar’s cousin and sitting MP Supriya Sule.
