BPSC Protest Prashant Kishor Detained: Prashant Kishor, who was fasting unto death for the demands of BPSC candidates, was arrested by the police after taking him into custody at 4 am on Monday (January 6). This information was given by Patna district administration. Prashant Kishore was first detained by the police and then admitted to Patna AIIMS for treatment. PK’s team alleged that Prashant Kishore was forcibly taken away by the police, after which the protesters created a ruckus outside AIIMS.
Jansuraj chief Prashant Kishore was on a fast unto death for four consecutive days. Prashant Kishor was arrested by the police after taking him into custody early in the morning from Gandhi Maidan in Patna. After this he was taken to AIIMS for treatment. PK was sitting on a fast unto death at Gandhi Maidan in Patna from around 5 pm on 2nd January. During his regular checkup, the doctors warned him that if he did not get treatment, his condition could worsen. He was not getting treatment due to his fast unto death.
‘Regular medical checkup was taking place’
After medical checkup on the fourth day, Dr. Lal Pandey said that his health was fine. Talking to journalists after investigation, he said, Prashant Kishore’s health is still fine. Due to starvation the level of urea in the body has increased slightly. At the same time, the sugar level is going up and down. The doctor had told Prashant Kishore that if he did not start taking solid and liquid diet, the situation could worsen.
Prashant Kishore is sitting on fast unto death
Prashant Kishor was on a fast unto death at Gandhi Maidan in Patna demanding the cancellation of the 70th preliminary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). He had said on Sunday that a new organization Youth Satyagraha Samiti has been formed in Bihar. While announcing this, he had said that there are students of all parties and ideologies in it.
What is the whole matter?
In the joint competitive examination held on December 13 last year, a rumor had spread about the question paper being leaked at the Bapu Bhawan examination center in the state capital Patna, after which hundreds of candidates had boycotted the examination to register their protest. After this, BPSC ordered to conduct the examination again at Bapu Examination Complex. Regarding this, re-examination was also organized in many centers of Patna. On the other hand, a large number of candidates are demanding cancellation of the entire examination.
