A man in Karnataka, said to be a staunch fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cut off the index finger of his left hand and offered it to Goddess Kali as a sacrifice while praying for PM Modi’s third term. This unique incident came to light on Saturday. It happened in Sonarwada area of Karwar city. The devoted follower of PM Modi has been identified as Arun Vernekar.
Vernekar has also built a temple of PM Modi at his residence and regularly performs “special puja”. After cutting his finger, he wrote in blood on the walls of his house “Maa Kali Mata, protect Modi Baba”.
He had also written on the wall that ‘Modi Baba’ will become Prime Minister for the third time. ‘Modi Baba is the greatest’ was also seen written on the wall. Talking to the media, Arun Vernekar said that only after PM Modi came to power at the Centre, ‘the problems caused by China and Pakistan have ended.’
He said, “Earlier there were reports of terrorist activities and deaths of soldiers from Kashmir, but now the area is peaceful. Prime Minister once again for the development of the country. Narendra Modi Is required.”
Arun Vernekar earlier worked in Mumbai film industry. Now he lives in Karwar city and takes care of his aged mother. He is unmarried. Earlier, during the 2019 general elections, he had also tried to cut his finger, but due to some reason it could not happen. However, this time he managed to cut his finger.
