Many new things will be seen in the telecom sector in the new year. This year, while the government telecom company BSNL can start 4G connectivity in the entire country, Starlink can also arrive in India. It is expected that from this month onwards, mobile users will start getting voice only recharge plans, then unwanted calls can also be completely controlled. Let us know what is going to happen in the telecom sector this year.
Starlink will enter
American billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink is ready to enter India. It is believed that the company’s satellite broadband service will start in India this year. With its help, mobile users will be able to enjoy high-speed internet connectivity even in remote areas. Starlink provides internet through satellite. At present this company is providing its services in many countries including America, Europe and Australia.
Voice calling plan
After the introduction of smartphones and 4G connectivity, the burden on the pockets of users in the country had increased. Telecom companies were offering bundled plans, which provide internet data and calling facilities. For many users who do not use the internet, these plans were proving to be very expensive. In view of this, telecom regulator TRAI had ordered telecom companies to introduce voice only recharge plans. This order will be implemented soon, after which companies will have to launch only calling and SMS plans.
You can get relief from unwanted calls
Everyone is troubled by unwanted calls on mobile. This year people can get freedom from them. Rules regarding spam calls will be tightened and telemarketing companies will have to pay fine for violating them.
BSNL’s 4G service across the country
The number of users of government telecom company BSNL is continuously increasing. To provide them better service, the company is installing new towers across the country. By the end of December, the company had started 4G connectivity in all four metros of the country as well as in most of the state capitals. The company aims to start 4G connectivity in all its circles by June. This year the company can also start 5G service.
