Ingredients for making rice
Rice – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
Water – 2 cups (can do more or less as per requirement)

If you want to make fluffy rice at home, then first of all take long thin grain rice. After this, clean the rice thoroughly and then wash it properly two to three times with water and keep it soaked for 10 minutes. Now put soaked rice and 2 cups of water (as per need) in a deep bottom vessel and mix it with a spoon and put it on the gas. When the rice comes to a boil, add one spoon of desi ghee and lemon juice to it and mix it with a spoon.

Now cook the rice while boiling for 10 minutes. After this, take out the rice and see whether it is cooked properly or not. If there is rawness in the rice, boil it for another 5 minutes and let it cook. After this, turn off the gas and with the help of a sieve, take out the rice grains and separate them. In this way the scattered puffed rice will be ready.

If you want to cook rice in a cooker, then put the soaked rice in the cooker and cook till it comes to a boil first. After this add desi ghee and lemon juice and mix it with a spoon.
