President of Agra College Staff Club in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Prof. Vijay Kumar Singh, in-charge Principal Dr. CK Gautam and members of the Trust on Tuesday protested against the suspended Principal Prof. A series of allegations were made against Anurag Shukla. Dr. CK Gautam raised questions on his educational and academic certificates. Said to have shown that he passed the high school examination at the age of just 12 years and six months. The experience of conducting research work at PG level was described as wrong.
Dr. CK Gautam said that the suspended principal is making wild allegations to hide his incompetence, serious financial irregularities and fake documents of his appointment. In the investigation conducted on the complaint of Phupukta officials and important persons of the society, Prof. Shukla did not provide evidence. Did not present his educational records before the Agra College Management Committee before appointment. Due to personal ill will and malice, absurd allegations were made against Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay.
Dr. CK Gautam said that whatever instructions the government gives him, he will follow it. He is handling the responsibility of the post only on the instructions of the government. It also said that the newly formed Board of Trustees is aware of the entire matter and will take necessary action. Pro. Vijay Kumar Singh, in the name of fees for purchase of cupboard and bicycle stand, asked Prof. Shukla was accused of irregularities.
In the press conference organized in the college, Vice Principal Dr. PB Jha, Prof. Bhupal Singh, Shashikant Pandey, Prof. KK Singh, Prof. Sharad Chand Bhardwaj, Prof. Priyam Ankit, Dr. Bhupendra Chikara, Dr. Gaurav Kaushik, Board of Trustee member Subhash Dhall, Mahant Mahendra Giri etc. were included.
Pro. Anurag Shukla also counterattacked
Pro. Anurag Shukla has hit back at the allegations made by Dr. CK Gautam. He has described Dr. CK Gautam as ineligible and unfit for the post of Principal. His allegations have been described as false and false. He denied the complaints and said that considering his side, the High Court has stayed the suspension. Pro. Anurag Shukla says that the Higher Education Minister belongs to everyone. They should follow the orders of the High Court.
