President Draupadi Murmu Telangana Visit: president Draupadi Murmu He is on a tour of Telangana during winter vacation. The President reached Hakimpet Air Force Station in Hyderabad at 5 pm on Monday (December 26). Where Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao warmly welcomed him. History of Rashtrapati Nilayam

The President will stay at the Rashtrapati Nilayam at Bolarum in Hyderabad’s twin city of Secunderabad, which is the official retreat of the President. It was constructed in 1860 as the country house of the British Resident in Secunderabad. After the merger of Hyderabad State with India in 1948, it became the residence of the President. Thus it is the third official residence of the President after Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi and Rashtrapati Niwas in Shimla.
