These days, the price of apple in the vegetable market is Rs 100 per kg, but the price of green coriander, which adds aroma to the vegetable, has reached Rs 300 per kg.

According to vegetable vendors, tomatoes, which enhance the taste of vegetables, are also being sold for up to Rs 100 per kg. This time there was more rain in Nagaur area. Due to this, the vegetables grown in rural areas by planting fences got spoiled due to rain. Vegetable vendors said that vegetables start arriving from rural areas every year in late September or October. But this time it did not happen. In such a situation, vegetables have to be ordered from other places including Agra and Jaipur. Due to this the prices of vegetables are skyrocketing.

Vegetable prices likely to reduce after 20 days
Vegetable vendors told that till a month ago the prices of vegetables were low. But after local vegetables getting spoiled, their prices have increased three times due to importing vegetables from outside. He told that in the beginning of October, after the arrival of local vegetables, the prices used to fall. But this time it is not so. After the coming 20 days, the arrival of vegetables from local will start, only then there is hope of relief in the prices of vegetables.

According to local traders, currently green coriander is being sold at Rs 300, tomato at Rs 100, gobi at Rs 90, ghee at 50, ridge gourd at Rs 50, potato at Rs 40, green chilli at Rs 100, capsicum at Rs 130, brinjal at Rs 70 and spinach at Rs 70 per kg in Nagaur. oh
