All primary schools of Uttar Pradesh will remain closed for 15 days from tomorrow i.e. 31 December 2024. This winter vacation has been declared after the completion of half annual examinations on 28th December. During this time, students can enjoy winter with their families and can also plan a trip.
Teachers have also given homework for 15 days to the students so that the study can continue. After these holidays, schools will open again on their normal time on January 15, 2024. At the same time, in the schools of Meerut, it has been announced that schools will be closed till 30th December for students up to class eight.
Severe winter in North India, dense fog will last for 3 days
In North India, the cold has increased due to the icy winds coming from the mountains. Cold has affected the lives of people in many areas including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense fog for the next three days. Also, the minimum temperature is likely to fall by six degrees in the next two days.
Children have been advised to take special care during this winter season. Experts have said that children need to wear warm clothes and take necessary precautions to avoid cold.
This holiday time is a great opportunity for children to not only relax but also spend time with family. However, efforts have been made to keep children engaged in studies through homework.

Winter havoc expected to increase further
The Meteorological Department has warned that cold may increase further in North India. Traffic may be affected due to cold and fog. Therefore, people have been appealed to take precautions and avoid leaving the house without essential work.
