The statement said India is part of the G-20 “troika” along with Brazil and South Africa and is actively contributing to the discussions at the G-20 summit. The Ministry of External Affairs said, “During the summit, the Prime Minister will present India’s position on various issues of global importance and the ‘G-20 New Delhi Leaders Declaration’ and ‘Voice of the Global South Summit’ hosted by India in the last two years. PM Modi’s first visit to Nigeria
On the other hand, on the invitation of Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prime Minister Modi will visit Nigeria on 16-17 November. According to the statement, this will be the first visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria in 17 years. “During the visit, the Prime Minister will review the strategic partnership between India and Nigeria and discuss opportunities to enhance bilateral relations,” the statement said.
