Priya Ahuja, who played the role of Rita reporter in the show, keeps complaining about the makers and the treatment in the show.
She has once again given a statement regarding her husband and Malav Rajda, who was once the director of the show. Let us tell you that Priya’s husband i.e. Malav has been the director of this comedy show for 10 years.
Both were recently seen in the new edition of Love Hua. During this, Priya made one thing clear that despite being the director of Malav, she once again did not demand additional screen time in the show. Priya said that people knew that I was the director’s wife and I had to keep personal and professional life completely separate.
‘I never made any demand’
Priya said – During the days of Taarak Mehta, I never asked Malav to tell the writers of the show anything about my role or give me extra screen time. This is my profession, my work. When I met Malav, I was already a part of the show. He did not bring me to the show. Therefore my track was not their responsibility. I have always left many things to luck and hard work. The rest is on the call of the producers, we can’t do much about that.
‘I was disappointed’
Priya said- I am very disappointed. Initially the track was doing well, but later I felt that I was being avoided. This was happening because she was the director’s wife. I told him (Asit Modi) that as an artist I would like to be seen more in the show but never told this to Malav.
Reason for Malav leaving the show
During the conversation, Priya also made new revelations about Malav’s exit from the show. He said- Everyone sees good and bad times. We are no different from this. The problem arises when work and its frustrations start coming home. Then I said to Malav – This is affecting both of us. We love each other. Now you should leave it. It is better to stay at home. Don’t bring negativity from outside. Malav also understood how his work was negatively impacting him as a person.
