Expansion

After SP President Akhilesh Yadav, Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has also supported the teachers regarding digital attendance.

Priyanka wrote on Facebook that the teachers of the state are opposing online attendance. Their argument is valid that most of the schools are in remote rural areas. Their problems have not been taken care of. She asked whether the problems of school education will end only with online attendance?

He said that teachers are engaged in non-educational work like election duty, polio duty, corona duty, various surveys, increasing crowd in rallies, carrying straw etc. There are no basic facilities in schools. Teachers do not have half day, paid leave and medical facilities. Issuing impractical orders without finding a solution to these problems is causing emotional and mental harm to teachers. At the same time, Ajay Gupta, State General Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party Teachers Cell, has also called the order of registering online attendance of teachers as dictatorial. He said that the government should immediately withdraw this order.

Teachers confused by Akhilesh’s tweet

SP President Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter late Tuesday night that in the face of the unity of teachers, the BJP government finally had to postpone its illogical decision of digital attendance. The BJP government must have now understood that in a democracy, the voice of the people is the biggest order, not the will of the government. Congratulations to the teachers for this moral victory. However, the department has not withdrawn its order. There was confusion among the teachers regarding this.

Review today through video conferencing
