PKL 9 Eliminator 2: In the second eliminator match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022, the match between UP Yoddha and Tamil Thalaivas was decided by tie breaker. The scores of both the teams were equal in regular time, but in the tie-breaker, Thalaivas won by a margin of 6-4. Now they will face Puneri Paltan in the semi-finals.
The game was very close in the first half
The match started in a brilliant manner in which Thalaivas’ defense showed strong play and troubled the raiders of UP. The UP team also reached the verge of all out, but Pradeep Narwal saved his team from being all out by raiding two points. However, Pradeep was constantly troubled by Thalaivas’ defense and conceded only three points in seven raids. For Thalaivas, Narendra Kandola had scored seven points while performing brilliantly. Both the teams remained on par in defense and got five points each. At the end of the half, Thalaivas had a two point lead.
The excitement continued in the second half as well.

In the first minute of the second half, the UP team got all out and Thalaivas got a four point lead. For some time, Thalaivas continuously strengthened its lead, but then UP came back and worked to reduce the lead. UP was trailing by five points in the last three minutes, but Pradeep Narwal reduced the lead with a two-point raid. With two minutes left in the game, UP made Thalaivas all out and the score was tied at 33-33.
In the last minute, Ajinkya Pawar gave Thalaivas a one-point lead, but in the very next raid, Pradeep took three points and put UP in a very strong position. Taking two points in a very short time, Thalaivas once again equalized the score.
