Professor Kirti Pandey of Gorakhpur University has been appointed as the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission. Prof. Kirti Pandey graduated from Buddha PG College Kushinagar in 1982 and obtained Masters from Gorakhpur University in 1984. He completed his PhD in 1992 under the guidance of Prof. SP Nagendra. Prof. Pandey has 39 years of experience as a teacher in higher education.
These positions have been filled
Started as a lecturer in the Department of Sociology in 1985, appointed by the Education Service Commission in SV Degree College in 1987, appointed as a permanent lecturer in Gorakhpur University in 1988 and has been on the post of professor since 2006. Was posted as Dean Arts in Gorakhpur University since June 2023. Members were appointed in the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, however the post of chairman was vacant, due to which the recruitment process could not start. Recruitment may happen soon on bumper posts
According to reports, applications were invited for the posts of the chairman and 12 members of the commission. All 12 members were appointed on March 14, but applications were again invited for the post of chairman. After this, the Principal Secretary Higher Education was made the acting chairman of the commission on March 20. But now the work of the commission will start with the appointment of a new chairman. The recruitment process will be able to start for about 20 thousand posts pending in the secondary and higher education department.
