Rahul Kumar of Hussainipur village of Samastipur district planted cabbage in his field. He got the idea of growing this crop from someone. Rahul is growing cabbage in his 15 kattha field and earns a profit of more than Rs 30,000 per kattha every 4 months. Talking about the market price, the price of cabbage was easily available at ₹20 to ₹25 per kg.

Farmer Rahul Kumar said that my brother has been cultivating Banda Cabbage for a long time. He was the one who advised us to cultivate Bandra Gobi. Following his advice, I cultivate cabbage in 15 kattas. The crop is produced at the rate of 15 to 20 quintals per bushel. The price of Bandha Gobi is ₹ 20 to ₹ 25 per kg.
