Do this work before the flood comes

Keep these things in mind during floods
When the flood water is continuously rising and safe evacuation of animals is not possible, then it is beneficial for the animals to untie their ropes because a tied animal cannot save itself whereas loose animals can save themselves by swimming. Apart from this, hypothermia can also develop in animals standing in water and their hooves and skin may melt. Therefore, one should try to take the animals to a dry place as soon as possible. During floods, animals can also be tied on the roof.
Small animals like goats, sheep, and small calves. Tying the animals on the roof will make them less affected by the flood. Apart from this, leave the big animals open in a field where the soil is hard, so that they do not sink while swimming in the rain water.
