Pulkit Samrat is going to celebrate his 41st birthday on 29th December. Pulkit was born in a Punjabi family of Delhi and did his schooling in Delhi only.
While doing an advertising course, Pulkit got a modeling offer and it was from here that his film career started. Pulkit reached Mumbai to make a career in modeling and here he joined the acting workshop of Kishore Namit Kapoor.
After this, in 2006, he got a chance to play the character of Lakshya Veerani in Ekta Kapoor’s TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. This character made Pulkit a household name.
Pulkit decided to leave Ekta Kapoor’s show for films and then in 2012 he made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Bittu Boss’. This film was a flop.
But in the year 2013, the film ‘Fukrey’ brought fame to Pulkit. After this he worked in many films like ‘Dolly Ki Doli’, ‘Bangistan’, ‘Sanam Re’, ‘Fukrey Returns’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
Pulkit’s personal life also always remained in the headlines. Pulkit married Salman Khan’s famous sister Shweta Rohariya in 2014 after dating him for a long time. But this relationship did not last long and both got divorced and separated. There was talk at that time that this relationship broke due to Pulkit’s affair with Yami Gautam.
After this Pulkit met actress Kriti Kharbanda and their love blossomed. After dating for several years, the couple got married in March this year.
