Life lost because of video game

In the last 5-6 years, many children have lost their lives and many have even put their lives in danger due to addiction to various mobile games. One such new case has come from Pune, a city in Maharashtra. Arya Shrirao, who lived in Pune, was a class 10 student and was heavily addicted to mobile games.

Arya’s addiction was so dangerous that it even took his life. While playing a mobile game, Arya jumped from the 14th floor and died. According to a report by BBC Hindi, the child’s parents said that he had been playing a video game for the past few months. He kept playing the same video game day and night, morning and evening, while sleeping and waking up and kept thinking about it.

The parents said that their child was so addicted to video games that they could see a change in his behavior. They tried a lot to convince Arya but he could not get out of that addiction and in the end, while playing the game, he jumped from the 14th floor and committed suicide.

How to save children from the deadly habit of games

Set a time limit: If your child is playing video games, set a time limit for it and ensure that your child does not play the game after that time.

Inspire outdoor games: Instead of letting children sit at home and play video games, send them out of the house and encourage them to play outdoor games like cricket, badminton, kabaddi, kho-kho, football, tennis, etc. This will also keep the child’s fitness good.

Seek professional help: If you feel that your child has got a bad and dangerous addiction to video games, then you should not just keep explaining to the children yourself but seek the help of a professional counselor and take the children to the counselor daily.
