Pune hinjewadi travel fire was not accidental it was set deliberately by driver

Pune hinjewadi fire: Four employees of the Vyom Graphics Company were killed when a tempo traveler vehicle caught fire in Hinjewadi, Pune. This incident, which took place in the morning on Wednesday (March 19), has now taken a new turn. Police investigation has revealed that this accident was not done by the driver, not due to any technical fault. During the inquiry, the accused driver has confessed his crime in front of the police. It is being told that the accused was angry at not increasing the salary.

A sudden fire broke out in a tempo traveler at 8:00 am in the Wipro Circle Phase One area at Hinjewadi. In this horrific fire, 4 employees were burnt to death inside the vehicle, while six workers were severely scorched. At the same time, 4 other employees somehow managed to save their lives by jumping from the vehicle. In the initial investigation, the police had speculated that the fire would have been caused by a short circuit, but the later investigation revealed shocking facts.

Driver’s conspiracy busted
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Gaikwad, the accused driver Janardan Humbardikar (who was currently living in Kotrud in Pune) was served as a driver on the Tempo Traveler of the Vyom Graphics Company at Hinjewadi. Police investigation revealed that the accused Hambarkikar was angry with the company administration. His salary was not increased and was also cut during Diwali. In addition, he was considered derogatory by his colleagues.

On Tuesday (18th), he filled a flammable chemical called a liter of benzine solution from the Vyom Graphics Company and kept it in his vehicle. Clothes were laid under the seat so that the fire could spread quickly. When he went to bring the employees on the morning of Wednesday (19), he bought a match from the Warje on the way. When Tempo Hinjewadi reached Phase One area, he set fire to clothes kept under the seat. Due to chemicals, a fire broke out in a few moments.

Police caught the accused like this
After the fire, the driver immediately jumped from the traveler and injured himself moderately. But the police suspected his behavior, as he was repeatedly pretending to be unconscious. When senior police inspector Kanhaiya Thorat questioned him deeply, his answers were filled. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of a company located near the spot clearly showed that the driver was burning something under the traveler’s seat. When the police strictly questioned him, he confessed his crime.

The accused said that he was humiliated by the company, his salary was deducted and he was not even given food two days ago. He carried out this frightening incident with anger and a sense of revenge. The police have arrested the accused and further investigation is on.
