Under which sections the case is registered

One of these is Section 304 and the other is Section 304A. However, the punishment is different in these two sections.

For example, if a person is driving on the road and suddenly the vehicle goes out of his control or another vehicle comes in front of the vehicle and an accident occurs in which someone dies, then in such cases a case is registered under Section 304A. Is. The maximum punishment under this section is only two years. Apart from this, standing bail is also available from the police station.

There is a different punishment in section 304

Whereas, if a person is driving dangerously fast or is driving under the influence of alcohol and during that time he causes a road accident in which a person dies, then in such a case, under Section 304. Case is registered. Under this section, the maximum punishment for the accused is 10 years. At the same time, he does not get bail from the police station. Rather he has to go to court for bail.

Which section was applied in the Pune case?

According to the Indian Express report, after the incident, Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said that a case has been registered against the minor boy under Section 304. A case has been registered against both the accused’s father and the bar which served liquor to the minor boy under the Juvenile Justice Act i.e. Section 75 and 77.

Bail granted on these conditions including writing essay

According to the report of Times of India, the accused minor was granted bail from the court 15 hours after the incident. One of the conditions set by the court while granting bail was that the accused should write an essay on accidents. Apart from this, the accused was asked to get treatment for his drinking habit and take counselling.
