Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Punjab Police has come up with a great job opportunity for the youth who are looking for a job in the police. Here applications have been invited from eligible candidates for more than 1700 posts of constable. Also know that the process of applying for these posts has not started yet. To apply for the bumper post of Punjab Police Constable, you have to visit the official website, whose address is – punjabpolice.gov.in, A total of 1746 posts of police constable will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 570 have been reserved for women candidates.
What is the educational qualification and age limit
To apply for these posts, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on January 1, 2023. As far as educational qualification is concerned, 12th pass candidates can apply for these posts through 10+2 pattern from a recognized board. The minimum educational qualification for Ex-Servicemen is matriculation pass.
how will be the selection
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after passing the three-stage examination. In the first phase, there will be a computer based exam in which multiple choice questions will come. There will be two papers, Paper One and Paper Two. There will be paper two qualifying in this. Stage two exam will be Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test. Scrutiny of documents will be done in the third and last phase. The selection of the candidates who qualify all the stages will be final.
