A PG student died under suspicious circumstances in Purnia, Bihar. After the death, mourning spread among the family members. After receiving information about the incident, the family members of the deceased are in distress. This incident took place in the Government Baijnath Kalyan Hostel of Haat police station area. Where the student died due to a silent heart attack while sleeping in the hostel in the morning. The deceased student has been identified as Amit Kumar, son of Gulab Chand Ram, resident of Dahipura, Kunwari block of Araria district. Amit was a final year PG student.
Regarding the incident, students of Government Baijnath Kalyan Hostel said that Amit Kumar woke up the students of his room to run. Then he sent these people away and went back to sleep. When all the students returned, they found him inactive and unconscious and took him to Purnia GMCH for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. Dr. Amit Anand said that prima facie it seems that the student died of a silent heart attack while sleeping. The rest of the post mortem report will reveal the full truth.
After the student was declared dead, the hostel students informed the family members of Amit Kumar about the incident. After getting information about the incident, the family reached Purnia GMCH and started crying after seeing Amit’s dead body. Family members told that Amit was the youngest brother among three sisters. His father is working in the office of Purnia Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer. However, the family refused to conduct post-mortem.
At the same time, all the students paid tribute to the deceased Amit Kumar by keeping two minutes silence by placing the body of deceased Amit Kumar in front of the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar located in the Government Baijnath Kalyan Hostel complex.
