Varun Dhawan’s much awaited high octane action film was released on 25th December, yet its opening day collection was less than the 21st day collection of Pushpa 2.
By releasing Varun Dhawan’s Baby John on the occasion of Christmas, the makers were hoping that their film would take advantage of this holiday, but what happened was that the opening of the film (12.5 crores) was not bad. But Pushpa 2 took full advantage of the Christmas holidays by earning Rs 19.75 crore on the same day.

Pushpa 2 becomes the first Hindi film to earn above Rs 700 crore
Pushpa 2 has created another record in Hindi on the 21st day. The film has earned Rs 716.65 crore. Till now no Bollywood film has touched this figure. Jawan, released in 2023, had earned Rs 582.31 crore from Hindi alone. So woman 2 Of Rs 597.99 crore. Now these films have also gone far behind the earnings of Pushpa 2.
