QS World University Rankings 2025 Out: In the QS World University Rankings 2025, the ranking of 61% of Indian universities has improved. IIT Bombay is at the top position in India. While the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has remained the best institute in the world for the 13th consecutive time.
This time Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has made a jump in QS World University Ranking 2025. The institute stood at 118th position. Whereas last year the institute was at 149th position. At the same time, Delhi University has also made a big jump in this ranking. The institute has come from 407th position to 328th position. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has got 150th rank. Indian Institute of Science Bangalore has got 211th rank.
These institutions also made a place
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has secured 222nd rank. Indian Institute of Technology Madras has secured 227th rank globally while this institute is at number 5 in India. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has secured 263rd rank. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is at 344th rank while it is at number 7 in the country. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is at number 335 in the world and at number 8 in the country. Anna University has been ranked 383.

A total of 5663 institutions from across the world were evaluated for the 2025 edition. This resulted in the ranking of 1503 institutions. 46 institutions from India have been ranked this year.
