Interesting story of Raj Kumar and Govinda
In 1989, the film Jangbaaz was released in which Govinda and Raj Kumar were seen in lead roles. This film was directed by Mehul Kumar who told the story of Govinda and Raj Kumar in an interview. According to reports, Mehul Kumar had said, ‘When we were shooting for ‘Jangbaaz’, one day Govinda came to the set wearing a vibrant shirt. Raj Kumar was impressed after seeing his shining shirt.
Mehul Kumar further said, ‘When Raj Kumar praised Govinda’s shirt, Govinda said, Sir, I will gift this to you. The next day Govinda also gifted him that shirt. But two days later, we were surprised to see that Raj Kumar had made a handkerchief out of that shirt and kept it in his pocket. He was seen wiping his hands and nose with that handkerchief. Govinda saw all this but could not react.
