In view of the preparations for the assembly elections, Congress will formally conclude its ambitious ‘Delhi Nyay Yatra’ with a public meeting at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Thursday. On this occasion, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will address party leaders, workers and supporters.
Rahul Gandhi is expected to unveil the party’s strategy and upcoming agenda for the assembly elections 2025 in this meeting. Although he was scheduled to attend the last leg of the yatra, he could not attend due to busy political activities. During the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi will also discuss the message of the Nyaya Yatra to the people of Delhi and its results.
The Nyaya Yatra started on November 8 and was led by state Congress President Devendra Yadav. He visited all the 70 assembly seats of Delhi during this month-long visit. Yadav visited various areas and promoted the policies and programs of the Congress and also listened to the problems of the people.
During the yatra, the party presented the Congress’s vision to the residents of Delhi, giving priority to local issues like electricity, water, health, education and employment. Through this campaign, Congress fiercely targeted the Kejriwal government and the BJP and tried to convince the public about its policies as an alternative to their rule. Congress believes that the Nyay Yatra has strengthened its relationship with the public and it will play a decisive role in the upcoming elections.
