Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Gaurav Yatra train will give a great opportunity to experience the cultural heritage of India and Nepal. The Union Minister was speaking on the occasion of flagging off the Bharat Gaurav Yatra train for Nepal at Nizamuddin Railway Station on Friday. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Balayogi Umeshnath Maharaj, Chairman and CEO of Railway Board Satish Kumar, General Manager of Northern Railway Shobhan Choudhury and senior railway officials were present.
Ashwini Vaishnav said that as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to make people experience Indian culture through railways, Bharat Gaurav Yatra trains are being added one after another as Bharat Gaurav Yatra. Tourists will now be able to have a great experience of the shared cultural heritage of India and Nepal.
According to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the passengers of this train running through IRCTC will travel till the India-Nepal border. After this, they will be taken on a tour of Nepal by road. During the journey, accommodation and sightseeing facilities will also be provided to the places near the city. On this occasion, he also interacted with the passengers and congratulated them for the journey.
The train will go to these places
This journey will be of nine nights and 10 days. The train which left from Delhi on Friday will return to Nizamuddin on 29 September. During this time, the train will cover Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Kashi Vishwanath and Pashupatinath in its package. All the arrangements for stay and travel will be borne by Indian Railways. For this, the passengers have to pay in the package. People traveling in different categories and groups have spent from Rs 65 thousand to Rs 1,05,500.
