The discussion about the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University (RMPSU) within 10-12 days of the removal of the election code of conduct has come to an end. At present, the inauguration has been postponed for a few days. First, a high-level team from the state level will come to review the work. After this, the date of inauguration will be decided in July.

This thing has come to light after the meeting of the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Chandrashekhar with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Vice Chancellor Prof. Chandrashekhar told Amar Ujala that he had met the Chief Minister last day. This meeting was in the context of the inauguration of the university. On this, the Chief Minister said – Higher Education Minister and Minister of State and Secretary of Higher Education Department will go to inspect the university. After this he will take a decision regarding the inauguration.

VC Prof. Chandrashekhar said that the Chief Minister also talked to him about basic facilities, construction and other points in the university. The Vice Chancellor said that the construction agency has assured to complete the construction work by June 15. He said that the works which are already approved will be completed by June, but the works which are approved later will take some time.

In response to a question, Prof. Chandrashekhar said that the Chief Minister himself wishes that the academic work of the university should start from the new administrative building of the university in July. His orders will be followed 100%. The Vice Chancellor said that the file for the appointment of teachers and employees in the university is pending with the government, action is likely to be taken on this soon.
