ED Action on Rajasthan Paper Leak Case: The Enforcement Directorate has made another arrest in connection with the money laundering investigation related to the alleged recruitment exam question paper leak case in Rajasthan. The Enforcement Directorate gave this information on Tuesday (October 10). The man, Bhupendra Saran, was detained on Monday (October 9) and a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Jaipur sent him to the agency’s custody for three days on Tuesday (October 10), the agency said in a statement. Sent into custody.
In this regard, the Enforcement Directorate said, ‘Bhupendra Saran along with other persons leaked the General Knowledge question paper of Senior Teacher Grade II Competitive Examination, 2022. This examination was to be conducted by RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) on 21 December 2022, 22 December 2022 and 24 December 2022 at various places in Rajasthan. Referring to the role of the accused in the paper leak, the agency said, ‘Bhupendra gave the said leaked question papers to Suresh Dhaka and other persons at the rate of Rs 8 to 10 lakh per candidate.’
Property worth Rs 3 crore of former RPSC member seized
Taking action in this case, the Enforcement Directorate had arrested former RPSC members Babulal Katara and Anil Kumar Meena last month. The agency had earlier seized assets worth more than Rs 3 crore of Saran and Katara. Rajasthan Police had registered FIR against the accused in this case. The money laundering case is based on those FIRs.
The accused has already gone to jail
According to the news published in the media, the ED arrested the accused Bhupendra Saran from the jail on a production warrant. After the appearance, the court sent accused Bhupendra Saran on remand for three days. Bhupendra Saran was involved in the GNM recruitment paper leak in the year 2011 and the Police Constable recruitment paper leak in the year 2022, in this case he has also faced jail. Many more important layers are expected to be revealed in the paper leak case during the interrogation of Bhupendra Saran.
