According to DNA’s report, Rajinikanth first chose Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster film Don and made its Telugu version ‘Billa’. Rajinikanth played a double role in it and the film became a superhit. After this, Rajinikanth made South remakes of some more successful films of Amitabh Bachchan.
Rajinikanth made remakes of Amitabh Bachchan’s films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Kasme Wade’ and ‘Lawaris’ and became a South superstar. Later, Rajinikanth also worked with Amitabh Bachchan in films like ‘Hum’ and ‘Andha Kanoon’.
Rajinikanth’s stardom is the highest
At the age of 73, Rajinikanth has become the biggest star of Tamil and Telugu cinema. Veteran actors like Kamal Haasan and Thalapathy Vijay are also in competition with him. According to a DNA report, Rajinikanth charged Rs 200 crore for a 2023 film and with this he became Asia’s highest paid actor. Along with this, Rajinikanth has raised questions in the matter of charging high fees. Shahrukh KhanSalman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas have also been left behind. Rajinikanth’s net worth is around 500 crores.
