The actress we are talking about is none other than Rakul Preet Singh.
Rakul started her career with the Kannada film Gilli (2009). She acted in Telugu and Tamil cinema and impressed critics and the public with her brilliant performances in films including Keratam (2011), Thadaiyara Thakka (2012) and Venkatadri Express (2013), Pandaga Chesko (2015), Sarrainodu (2016), Dhruva (2016) Nannaku Prematho (2016), Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017), and Spyder (2017).
After Tamil and Telugu cinema, Rakul also made a successful debut in Bollywood. Rakul made her Bollywood debut with Yaariyan (2014). She won the hearts of people with her performance in Ajay Devgan’s hit comedy De De Pyar De.
Rakul’s career has been derailed for the last few years. She has been a part of many flop films.
In the year 2024, Rakul married her long time boyfriend and Jackie Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment. After marriage, many films of the actress were released which were flops.
Rakul’s recent flops include Indian 2, Thank God, Runway 34, Attack, Sardar Ka Grandson. Her only hit was the Tamil film Ayalaan.
In a recent interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Rakul revealed that she was replaced from a Prabhas-starrer film after four days of shooting and she was not even informed about it. Rakul had said, “I was removed from a film after four days of shooting before I even debuted. It was a Telugu film with Prabhas. But sometimes, when you don’t know much about the industry or the way it functions, you don’t take it in stride.”
Rakul had further said, “I was so naive that, I thought, ‘Oh, okay they have removed me, maybe it was not for me, I will do something else.’
Talking about Rakul’s upcoming films, the actress will soon be seen in Indian 3 and De De Pyar De 2.
