Ramnagari Ayodhya is diving in the ocean of devotion these days. People are coming from every corner of the country to have darshan of Ramlala. The number of devotees has doubled and the offerings to Ram Lalla have also doubled. In December, devotees offered a donation of Rs 2 crore to Ram Lalla. This trend continues in January also.
There is increasing enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the consecration of Ramlala’s life in Ram temple. Thousands of devotees are reaching Ayodhya every day to have darshan of Ramlala before consecration. Visitors are also donating openly. Every day an offering of three to four lakhs is coming into Ram Lalla’s donation box i.e. Hundi.

Prakash Gupta, in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust office, said that the offerings to Ram Lalla have doubled. Earlier donations of around Rs 1 crore used to come every month. Now it has increased to two crores. In December, devotees offered Rs 90 lakh in cash in the donation box of Ram Lalla. Apart from this, offerings also came through online, cheque, RTGS. In this way, donations of Rs 2 crore have been made in December through various mediums.
Even in January, if we talk about cash, devotees are surrendering funds of two to three lakh rupees daily at the counter at the Trust office and Darshan Marg. In just 15 days of January, donations worth more than Rs 1 crore have come. The number of visitors to Ramlala has also increased. Earlier, before December, 15 to 20 thousand visitors used to come, now their number has reached 25 to 30 thousand every day.
