Rajnath Singh On Ram Temple: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday (January 13) said that the city of Ayodhya has finally got the respect it deserves and which it should have got immediately after independence.
On the occasion of the release of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Balbir Punj’s book ‘Tryst with Ayodhya’, Defense Minister Singh said that for Hindus Ayodhya is what Mecca is for Muslims and Jerusalem for Christians. He said that those few people who used to question the existence of Lord Ram have been marginalised.
Rajnath Singh said, “There were people in this country who used to question the existence of (Lord) Ram. They called him a fictional character. Such people have already been marginalized. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Because of this they too are now singing ‘Ramdhun’. India cannot be imagined without Ram.
‘Ram temple was never a point of conflict between Hindus and Muslims’
Union Minister Rajnath Singh said, “The book examines why this did not happen at that time.” It is a symbol of liberation from colonialism and renaissance. He also said that the Ram Temple issue was never an issue of conflict between Hindus and Muslims, but it was made so for vote bank politics.

Writer Balbir Punj claimed that Ram Mandir The issue was not a matter of debate between Hindus and Muslims of the area. He said that India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru did not want a temple to be built at that place.
Punj alleged, “Nehru’s hatred was not limited to Somnath or Ayodhya, he hated temples.” Vishwa Hindu Parishad working president Alok Kumar and Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh were also present in the program.
