Ram Mandir Apart from politicians, big stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Chikhalia, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Randeep Hooda and others have been invited for the Janmabhoomi event. TV actors who have played different roles in Ramayana have been invited and one of them is Sunil Lahiri. He played the role of Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana.
Sunil Lahiri expressed happiness on being invited to Ram Mandir Janmabhoomi program.
Recently he had expressed his disappointment at not getting the invitation but now he has finally got the invitation. He expressed his happiness through a video on Instagram. He thanked God and his fans who prayed that he would get the invitation and now he has got the invitation. While talking in an interview, he said that the blessings of Lord Ram helped him in getting the invitation.

He thanked the Ram Mandir Committee and said that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and no one will get the chance again. He thanked Ramanand Sagar for allowing him to play the character of Laxman in the show, which has now created history.
When Sunil Lahiri was asked whether anyone would be able to match him as Laxman? He said, “Only if the producer is able to bring out a performance like Ramanand Sagar, who helped me make Lakshman immortal”.
Let us tell you that Sunil Lahiri’s costars Deepika Chikhalia and Arun Govil were earlier invited for the inauguration of Ram Temple and only they were not invited. At that time he had expressed disappointment and hoped that he would also get an invitation. He had said that perhaps the committee feels that Lakshman does not have importance in Ramayana or they do not like him.
