Muzaffarpur, In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, the brightness of Ramadan is visible at every square. Lachha Sevai has its own importance in Ramzan. For this reason, there is a lot of demand for it among the fasting people. Hindustan Lachha Sevai located at Pakki Sarai Chowk of Muzaffarpur is very famous. Shop owner Mohd. Eijaz tells that his shop is 50 years old. Earlier his father used to run it, which he is now taking forward. He said that many types of flakes are available at his shop. It also includes lachha prepared in ghee and refined oil. Apart from this, they also sell Banarasi Lachha.

Mo. Eijaz told that he has many types of vermicelli available including Bhuna Vermicelli, Banarasi Vermicelli, Majhaula. Ghee Lachha of his shop is very famous. It is sold at the rate of Rs.460 per kg. Apart from this, Makuti Lachha is available at the rate of Rs.200 per kg. Whereas, ordinary Lachha is sold at the rate of Rs.180 per kg. Mo. Ejaz told that he does retail as well as wholesale work. In wholesale, Makuti Lachha is sold at Rs.12,000 per quintal, and ordinary Lachha at Rs.11,000 per quintal.

Makes 6 quintals of Lachha every day

Ejaz says that the demand for Makuti Lachha has increased a lot during Ramzan. Makuti Lachha dissolves well after mixing in milk. Its taste is different from other Lachha. Due to being small, people like it more. He told that his shop is in Muzaffarpur since 50 years. That’s why old people buy this with confidence. He told that six quintals of Lachha is made daily at his shop during Ramzan.
