A Class IV employee of Rampur Municipality pressurized a fellow girl to marry her by making an obscene video. When she refused, the accused molested her by threatening to make the video viral. Also asked for Rs 5 lakh. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a report against the municipal employee.

The girl, resident of a locality in Civil Lines police station area, told that she is a contractual employee in the municipality. As a staff member, he became acquainted with class IV employee Mohammad Shuaib, a resident of Mohalla Imli Jhuli, working in the municipality. The accused had also introduced his wife and children to the girl.

He used to visit his house also. The accused employee took the girl’s mother to Delhi to get medicines. The victim alleges that one day Shuaib had taken away the TV set top box from her house. Later he brought back the set top box and installed a camera in it.

With this he made an obscene video of the girl. If they protested, they threatened to implicate everyone in a false case and demanded Rs 5 lakh. The girl complained to DIG Moradabad in this matter. Civil Lines police station in-charge Ajay Kumar Mishra said that after registering a report, investigation has been started.
