Ranjit On Amitabh Bachchan: Along with his acting, ‘Superstar of the Century’ Amitabh Bachchan has impressed the whole world with his powerful voice and personality. Big B has also won the hearts of his fans with his discipline.
Everyone is a fan of Amitabh Bachchan’s work. Many Bollywood celebs who have worked with Amitabh Bachchan have praised him a lot. Veteran actor and one of Bollywood’s dreaded villains Ranjeet has also praised Amitabh. He once revealed about Big B’s daily routine on the set.
Amitabh Bachchan used to read Shrimad Bhagavad Gita every day on the set
Ranjit has worked with Big B on the big screen. Amitabh Bachchan, who started his Bollywood career with the 1969 film ‘Saat Hindustani’, also worked in the 1971 film ‘Reshma Aur Shera’. Ranjit was also a part of the film. Ranjit shared stories related to this film during an interview.
Ranjit had told that when the film was shot in Rajasthan, the actors were made to stay in tents. Ranjit had said about Amitabh Bachchan in the interview that, ‘Amitabh Bachchan was staying in the tent next to mine. I used to see him reading something every morning and writing something at night. One day I asked him what do you read every morning and what do you write at night?’
Big B also used to write letters to his parents
Ranjit further said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan told me that he reads the Gita in the morning. And, at night he writes a letter to his mother and father about his daily routine. I liked this thing about Amitabh. Amitabh had worked in ‘Saat Hindustani’ before ‘Reshma Aur Shera’. So he was one film senior to me. After this film, we did many films together. Even now I keep meeting Amitabh Bachchan and we keep joking around.’

Talking about Amitabh’s work front, he was last seen in the blockbuster film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Now Big B is going to be seen in Rajinikanth’s film ‘Vettaiyan’. This film will be released on October 10.
