As soon as the shocking news of Rata Tata’s demise came, there was a rush of people to say goodbye to him. Simi Garewal also wrote a note for Ratan Tata on her social media account X. With whom he has a deep history. Bidding him a final ‘farewell’, he wrote, “They say you are gone…your loss is very difficult to bear…very difficult…goodbye my friend…Ratan Tata.”

Simi Garewal had confessed to being in a relationship with Ratan Tata.
In an interview with The Times of India in 2011, Simi was asked about her relationship with Ratan Tata. On this Simi had accepted that she and Ratan Tata share a history. Praising him, she had said, “Ratan and I go way back. He is perfection, he has a good sense of humour, he is polite and a perfect gentleman. Money has never been his driving force. He is India He is not as relaxed here as he is abroad.”

Earlier this week, rumors of Ratan Tata being ill had spread on the internet but he dismissed the claims and said that it was just a regular medical checkup due to his age-related conditions. He also appealed to people not to spread misinformation about his health. But the news of his death was received on October 10, 2024. Ratan Tata died in a Mumbai hospital at the age of 86. According to reports, his condition was serious and he was in the ICU.
