According to media reports, Rau’s IAS Academy (Rau’s Study Circle) was started in a small room in 1953. This coaching was run in Hotel Palace Height in Connaught Place, Delhi. At that time, the coaching was run by Dr. A Rao, this institute was named after him. It is also believed that Dr. Rao is the father of coaching for Indian Administrative Services. After that many more institutes opened.

The name of the chairman of this coaching institute is VP Gupta and the name of the CEO i.e. Chief Executive Officer is Abhishek Gupta. After the accident, CEO Abhishek Gupta and coordinator Deshpal Singh have been arrested. This accident has put a big stain on the reputation of this coaching institute which has been running for 70 years. However, the big question is that whatever happens to the coaching institute, what will happen to the future of the children here.

Its centers are in Delhi and Bangalore and a large number of candidates study here. Abhishek Gupta took over its reins in the year 2010. He took over its responsibility from his father-in-law VP Gupta. VP Gupta handled it for about 20 years and then handed over the charge to his son-in-law Abhishek Gupta.

But the other big question is that life is everything. By only raising the issue of concern for studies, students cannot be left to study in these coaching centres of death. There is a need to make the rules strict in this regard.
