Raveena Tandon’s name was counted among the top actresses of the 90s. The actress is still active in the film industry. In such a situation, now Raveena has told that incident related to her past when she had an argument with the director due to non-factual things in the script.
During an interview with Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, Raveena Tandon told how she had clashed with the director for a scene and she had to suffer the consequences by leaving the film.
Raveena said, ‘I remember I had done a film in which it was shown that the child is in a coma and the mother comes in and the child looks at me and says Mama, Mama, Mama. Just before this scene, the nurse comes to me and says that your child is in a coma. So my question was, then how is he crying for his mother?
The actress further told that she went to the director with this question. But the director got angry at his question. But Raveena remained adamant on her question.
Raveena said- ‘The director told me not to teach me direction. I said, Sir, but this is a scientific fact, we cannot be wrong, people will laugh at us. Because my neck is also on the line.
Raveena further said- ‘Actors have to bear the brunt of criticism. But as an actor there is a limit to what you can suggest. The director left the set and I said okay, then I am not doing the film.
Talking about the work front, after ‘Patna Shukla’, Raveena Tandon now has Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ in the pipeline. Apart from him, the film will also feature Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandes, Lara Dutta, Paresh Rawal and Arshad Warsi.
