Apart from this, he has also obtained a master’s degree in Public Policy from Princeton University of America. He has also served as Revenue Secretary. Talking about the salary of the Governor of Reserve Bank of India, the new Governor Sanjay Malhotra will get a salary of Rs 2.5 lakh. Let us tell you that this salary is more than the salary of the Prime Minister of India. Sanjay Malhotra, the new Governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), is currently serving as Revenue Secretary in the Finance Ministry. So before this he was Secretary in the Department of Financial Services of the Finance Ministry. Sanjay Malhotra has a good understanding of subjects like Economic Administration, Public Finance and Energy Reform. He has also made important contributions to the Department of Revenue.
