3. Pakistan lost four consecutive Test matches for the first time on its soil. Australia had also beaten Pakistan before their 0-3 loss to England.
4. England spinner Rehan Ahmed became the youngest player to take 5 wickets in debut test.
5. English spinners took a total of 16 wickets in the Karachi Test. This is the second best performance by the spinners of a visiting team in a Test. Earlier, England spinners took 16 wickets against Bangladesh in Dhaka Test.
6. Ben Stokes won 9 Test matches as captain this year. He joined the list of eight captains who won 9 or more Tests in a calendar year.
7. Harry Brook became the second batsman to score centuries in all matches of a Test series of three or more matches for the visiting team. Before him, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell had made this record in his name.
8. England’s run rate in this Test series was 5.50. So far no team’s run rate has been more than 5 in a series of three or more Test matches.
